Season 4, Part 2 continues and concludes Benedict and Sophie’s story after this unfortunate faux pas. Sophie has no interest in being a nobleman’s dirty little secret — out of self-respect, out of professional concern, and because she knows what it’s like to be shunned in society. She receives Benedict’s offer as an unmistakable insult and makes this known quickly. With the quarreling lovers still constrained by their social classes, Bridgerton Season 4, Part 2 asks, “Is love enough?” The short answer is no.
